The City and County of Denver requested an effort recruiting multicultural candidates, Hispanics and African Americans, to apply for open positions within the city.
The Hispanic effort recognized the significant gap separating jobs and careers. Jobs, often are unfairly deemed as dead-ends with little pay and respect. Careers on the other hand offer true opportunities to find success and fulfilment. UnJob Your Career is the call to end the cycle of going in endless circles and pursuing a more satisfying line of work through the vast number of openings with the City of Denver—a career you'd be proud to call your own.
The African American campaign, Take it Higher, spoke to deep seeded cultural beliefs that many in their community could in fact not only do more for themselves but would also have an opportunity to give back to their community as a leader in many city efforts while working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
